Banana Oatmeal Cookies using Raisins.

How do baking cookies ever be quick? You usually have to have a scale, carefully measure out all the ingredients, caress the bread to ages, cut out small cookies into heart, moon and star shapes then wait another century'til they're baked.

NEVER EVER would I bake biscuits under these conditions. That's just how I roll. But then I encounter those Banana Oatmeal Fitness Cookies (that is what I call them, anyway.)

Okay, they don't taste just like the cookies you get round Christmas time. Instead they're a little more gooey and don't crumble whatsoever.

But what largely convinced me was that you could have them prepared in 25 minutes including the baking time! No shit.

Possibly the most surprising thing about the cookies is that they call for just 2 ingredients! Yep that's right, and anybody can combine two components.

Though if you would like to make them even tastier and/or healthier you can pimp them up with some add ons such as peppers, walnuts or cinnamon. That's up to you!

It sounds more and more like a sales pitch (it's not -- nobody's gonna pay me if you eat them), but I have to mention yet another awesome thing about those cookies.

They're tasty! Yep, after I'd had the initial I finished the rest within an hour.

They are perfect for hiking trips or other events where you need a quick energizing snack on the move. Nowadays I keep these as a quick snack in my back pack.

It also has to be mentioned that they're vegan. No eggs, no milk, no none of the typical cookie supposes. Just oats and bananas.

Take oats such as. Not only do they reduce your cholesterol levels which in turn helps you stop developing heart disease or diabetes, but they also energize you with great carbohydrates and nutrients to help keep you going for more throughout the day.

These nutrients comprise manganese, good for bone production and skin ethics as well as magnesium -- significant for energy production to allow you to feel fuller

Much like bananas -- the favourite fruit one of athletes -- not just cause they contain an adequate number of good carbohydrates but also for being Source the big players at the potassium game.

Potassium is a really important nutrient for preventing fatigue and muscular cramps. Pretty good if you've got a tough day ahead of you.

Since you can see, I am a huge fan.

If you do not possess that make sure to wash the baking dish with butter (or olive oil if you are vegetarian )

To create the cookie shape just grab a spoon and scoop an adequate amount from the mix onto the baking tray like I did in the photograph above. It is super quick and effortless.

Away it goes into the oven for around 15 - 20 minutes.
